Shakey Graves at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville

Austin-based artist Shakey Graves kicked off night one of their Solo Tour in Fayetteville, Arkansas at George’s Majestic Lounge on November 7th. The sold-out show geared up to be a strong start for Graves’ 10-show run. Folk-americana artist Clover County kicked off the night with a “bootgaze” set, setting a sweet and soulful tone to an electric night. Shakey Graves kicked off their set by paying homage to Mr. Rogers neighborhood, replacing the clips with camcorder shots of Fayetteville and the venue. The video built anticipation, and the room erupted as Shakey Graves frontman, Alejandro Rose-Garcia, took the stage. From there, Graves practically held the crowd in his hands as they repeated every lyric throughout the night. The night was truly unforgettable, and an electric start to an electric tour.
