Brooklyn-based pop duo Sleigh Bells, along with opener Sophie Turner, hosted an electrifying performance on June 3rd 2025, at Philadelphia’s Union Transfer venue. The duo, composed of Alexis Krauss and Derek Miller, performed as part of their North American tour promoting their latest album, Bunky Becky Birthday Boy, which dropped on April 4th of this year.

Kicking off the evening was special guest Sophie Hunter, whose alt rap filled set captivated the audience with her minimalistic instrumentation and ethereal vocals. Her performance provided the perfect build up for Sleigh Bells high octane performance, and set the stage for the night’s main act.

Next, Sleigh Bells took the stage to a cheering crowd, delving right into their signature blend of abrasive guitar riffs and pop melodies. The atmosphere created by Krauss’ dynamic stage presence and Miller’s relentless guitar work was methodic, controlled chaos that energized the audience throughout the ight. Their set ranged with a mix of new tracks from Bunky Beck Birthday Boy (i.e ‘Bunky Pop) to old classics such as “Crown on the Ground” and “Rill Rill.” The set showcased the duo’s evolution as artists as well as staying true to their roots.

In summary, Sleigh Bells and Sophie Turner’s performances that evening showed a true testament to their growth and endurance as artists. With Sleigh Bells unmatched energy, combined with their fans unbridled engagement, made for an unforgettable evening. We can’t wait till the next tour!
