GALLERY: Ax and the Hatchetmen at Austin’s 29th Street Ballroom

AUSTIN, TX | 29TH STREET BALLROOM | DECEMBER 4, 2025 | BY STACEY MILLER

Ax and the Hatchetmen brought Good Boy Daisy along for their headlining tour “So Much To Tell You” celebrating the release of their new album, and the pairing honestly couldn’t have been better.

Good Boy Daisy kicked things off at the 29th Street Ballroom with an iconic alt-rock-indie vibe. Their set was filled with vibrant melodies, catchy songs, and a radiant joy that filled the room. Fans were dancing, singing along, and fully immersed in the moment.

Ax and the Hatchetmen kept that momentum going the moment they stepped onstage. Their whole set had that chaotic-in-the-best-way energy that kept the crowd moving. It was obvious that both bands were genuinely enjoying themselves, and the crowd fed off it the entire night.

By the time Ax and the Hatchetmen played their final song, the room was still buzzing. As soon as they walked offstage, the entire crowd exploded into a full “ONE MORE SONG!!” chant, loud enough to bring the guys back out for three more songs. The encore was a perfect way to close out an already electric night.

KEEP UP WITH AX AND THE HATCHETMEN
