AUSTIN, TX | STUBBS | SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 | BY GIANA SPERANZA

In an iconic lineup of alternative/indie bands, Nightcap headlined Stubbs this past Friday to get fans ready for their upcoming East Coast tour, starting in November of 2025. Other crowd favorite groups, Flight By Nothing and slenderbodies, started off the night strong by setting the energy high and uniting the crowd in a groove that was irresistible. As audience members filled the venue, the excitement for Nightcap grew as fans quickly grew captivated by these two unbelievable openers. Chatter about the solidarity of this line up was evident and Austin live music fans were thrilled to see these three bands play one after the other. The night provided good company, tasty food and drink, and an energy that unified the crowd within the city.

Fans packed toward the barricade as they anxiously awaited for Nightcap to enter the stage, after Flight by Nothing (Conner, Pacco Salinas, Porfii, Sam and Huey) and slenderbodies (Max Vehuni and Benji Cormack) rocked the stage. Ryan King, Jake Bomgaars, Alex Alfonso, Adrian Ayala, and Stijn Dobbelaere trickled out, the venue roared, and the band was quickly illuminated by captivating, colorful lighting. Known for their indie/alternative rock music, Nightcap made their playful stage presence quickly known, in their engagement with one another and the bright smiles on their faces as they headlined Stubbs. They set a strong tone for their upcoming shows and new album, which will be released on September 26, 2025. It was clear just how unique each of these bands are in their own individual sounds and left audience members checking out their discographies after the show.
