GALLERY: Waylon Wyatt at Emo’s Austin

AUSTIN, TX | EMO’S | OCT 28, 2025 | BY OLA “TOBI” BABATUNDE

Rising country star Waylon Wyatt, made a ruckus at Emo’s Austin on November 22nd for his “Out of the Blue” tour. Accompanying him was the Texas-born cowboy, Angel White.

The show opened with soulful tunes from Angel White on the guitar, who was accompanied on stage by Austin-based Carlos VanWees, who got the crowd dancing with the sound of his fiddle. Waylon shortly followed them, serenading the crowd with hits like “Everything Under the Sun” and “Jailbreak”, while showcasing an impressive onstage presence by dancing around while ripping on both the guitar and harmonica. Waylon also showcased a heart of gold, by continuing to hold the show even when faced with setbacks due to inclement weather and venue changes -  Waylon made sure to deliver to his Texas fans, and he definitely will continue to as he takes his tour abroad in Canada, Australia, and Europe!
